5 Whys of the Ron Briggs, CPA Firm

  1. Personal Responsibility through Planning – Many people in my profession view the business as a product – a tax return – a financial statement. I believe in helping people grow their business and better their lives through planning. Develop a good plan, gauge your progress and modify the plan to meet the changing business environment.
  2. Making and Honoring Promises – When we (me or my staff) promise that we will do something, we give it our best shot at living up to the promise. Honesty and integrity are the hallmark of our reputation.
  3. Nobility of Business I believe the only long-term solution to poverty is business. That is because businesses produce goods , services, and jobs. And businesses continue producing goods and services year after year, and continue providing jobs and paying wages year after year. Therefore if we are ever going to see long-term solutions to poverty, I believe it will come through starting and maintaining productive, profitable businesses.
  4. Courage to Do the Right Thing – Sometimes I have to tell a client that what they are requesting is wrong or it won’t work. It is never a pleasant conversation but it is the right thing to tell the client the truth even though it hurts. Over the years, I have had to do this and it has cost me clients but I have never regretted doing the right thing.
  5. Benevolence – Over the years I have been blessed with a successful business and an above average lifestyle. Realizing that it all comes from God, has given me the prospective of giving back. Giving to those in need whether it be money or time has always been a blessing.
